The Bay of Somme and the Pointe du Hourdel offer a multitude of activities and natural landscapes to discover. The Pointe du Hourdel is an exceptional natural site located south of the Bay of Somme. It is known for its varied landscapes and outdoor activities. Seal watching at the Pointe du Hourdel is one of the best spots for observing seals in the Bay of Somme. To maximize your chances of seeing them, check the tide times and arrive 1 hour and 30 minutes before low tide. Bring binoculars so as not to disturb them and maintain a minimum distance of 300 meters so as not to frighten them. Walking or cycling: The Hourdel loop (8 km) is an easy and well-marked walk. It takes you through pebbles, dunes, and the hinterland, with beautiful views of the bay. By bike, you can easily reach Cayeux-sur-Mer, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, or the Hâble d'Ault.
